The Town has authorized a Community Events Committee to help coordinate these type of events starting with the new "Community Dinners" that are being thrown by local Groups. Please contact the Town Office to find out when the next Dinner is. You can also go to the Newsletter page on this site and pull down the current month's newsletter, Dinners are listed on the Calendar also.

Served every 2^nd. and 4^th. Saturday by Faith Chapel & Trappe United Methodist Churches from 7:30-10:00 a.m. in Wesley Hall (corner or Main St. and Powell Ave.). Menu: eggs, pancakes, sausage, hash browns, grits, juice, coffee. Adults, $5.00, seniors, $4.00, under 12, $3.00

The annual Trappe Volunteer Firemen's Carnival will again be held at the old ball park, Main Street, Trappe. The carnival will take place Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 25th thru July 28th, 2007. The grounds will be open Wednesday & Thursday 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Friday & Saturday 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The Annual Parade will be at 6:00 pm on Saturday, please contact Drew Dickerson (410) 476-3535 if you are interested in being in the parade.

Miss Trappe 2006

The Little Miss Trappe Contest will be held on Friday, July 27th and the Miss Trappe Contest will be Saturday, July 28th. Please contact Tammy Quidas at (410) 820-2979 if you need information or would like to participate.

As always there will be raffles tickets available, 1st prize $500.00, 2nd prize $300.00, 3rd prize $200.00; they can be purchased from any fire company member or on the grounds during the carnival. The Seven Sister Quilt Guild has again donated a quilt to be raffled on the last night of the carnival; tickets can be purchased from any member of the fire company or on the grounds during the carnival.

Little Miss Trappe 2006

There will be amusement rides, food vendors, silent auction, cake booth & local entertainment each night. If you would like to make a donation for the silent auction contact Lou Diefenderfer at (410) 476-3882. Braclet night will be opening night, Wednesday, July 24th and the price will be $17.00.
